"Basement Skate"
The work presented in this document is a fictional creation done by me as a personal project, its resemblance to any existing works maybe coincidental. The following logo is a redesigned version of "Basement Skate" official logo.
The current logo for Basement Skate shop is a type based logo (word mark), My challenge was to develop the typeface and illustrate a simple element that would make the logo more unique and attractive. The hardest part with sports related logo is that it becomes a mega challenge to simplify its look. I worked through many initial sketches and ideas and eventually made this as a final outcome. With the development of the logo, I have also prepared a brief style guide and applications. which you will find in the following slides.
